Our compote is pectin-free and with only added fruit sugars.
It is made with only 2 ingredients: blueberries and grape sugar. Because nature does not need refined sugars or pectin. Blueberries are harvested in an advanced state of ripeness, when they naturally contain more sugars, and the ratio between raw material and compote is always in favor of the former: 120 g of blueberries are used for every 100 g of compote.
As soon as you open a jar you will be enveloped by an enveloping scent of ripe fruit. The taste is the authentic one of the raw materials used, collected in an advanced stage of ripeness and cooked slowly at a low temperature. In this way the compote is naturally sweet and tasty.

Characteristics of compotes
Fruit compotes contain more fruit than extra jams and many times can exceed 100% fruit. How is it possible? Because weight loss occurs during cooking: to make many of the organic compotes, up to 130 grams of fruit were used for every 100 grams of finished product. They contain only fruit and grape sugar, for a percentage of simple sugars in the finished product that is lower than in other jams and marmalades. They are refined sugar-free and pectin-free.
